For individuals with disabilities wishing to achieve independence, living in a residential setting within the local community is a dream come true. Hi-Hope offers a wide variety of living arrangements to suit the needs and desires of our residents. We offer the opportunity to live in Host Homes, Group Homes, and Supported Living arrangements, as well as the chance to live independently. Modeled after the Foster Home Program, Host Homes provide a typical family-like atmosphere. In a host home setting, our clients live in the home of caring, responsible families and enjoy all of the benefits of full family membership. Hi-Hope owns and operates 5 group homes. Our comfortable homes are decorated and maintained in a manner that is consistent with the belief that we will never place a client in one of the homes if we ourselves would not want to live there. Staffed 24 - 7 the group home offers support for the needs of each individual, while at the same time allowing the residents to live as independently as possible. Supported and Independent living arrangements allow individuals to experience life fully. Individuals have the option to live in their own apartments, either by themselves or with a roommate. Our staff only supports these individuals in key areas of need such as money management or leisure activities when necessary, thus allowing them to be as independent as possible.
