Make a Financial or in-kind donation

Foundation, corporate and individual gifts provide much needed support to Hi-Hope. Without these gifts, Hi-Hope would be unable to sustain the services it so proudly provides. But, with so many worthwhile causes seeking funding, support is often limited to those organizations that have a relationship with the community. This relationship is measured by the following: Is it trusted? Is it financially sound? Does it have a vision for the future? Will it be here in 5 years, 10 years, or 50 years? Does it adapt to meet the changing needs of the people it supports?

We assure you that the answer is a resounding "yes" to the above questions. After all, we have been in business since 1960 and have the knowledge, drive, adaptability and community connections to not just survive, but thrive!

We also gratefully receive in-kind donations that help off-set the costs of our programmatic and operational work - whether that be crafting supplies, services, food for special events, or whatever you can offer, we can and will put it to good use in the service of our mission. You can drop of the items at our main campus or we can schedule a pick up at your convenience.

  • New or gently used furniture or household items

  • Computers/laptops/tables or other interactive technology

  • Cleaning supplies

  • Games/board games

  • Learning or educational materials (ie. flash cards, books, pocket charts. etc)

  • Office supplies

  • Bingo prizes

  • Kitchen items (pots, pans, silverware, dishes etc.)

  • Holiday-specific party supplies or gifts

  • And much more - if you have a question, don't hesitate to ask. We use everything.

The annual fund

The annual fund isn't necessarily glamorous, but it is HUGELY important. The annual fund raises unrestricted dollars from individuals, corporations and foundations to bridge the gap between Medicaid funding and the real cost of supporting people with developmental disabilities. It maintains essential functions like quality employment, daily activities, literacy programs, nursing, volunteer and recreation service, and much more. Additionally, it funds the nitty-gritty, brass tacks stuff like utilities, fuel, building maintenance and vehicle maintenance. Hi-Hope cannot operate without these critical functions.

Donations to the annual fund are vital to the future of Hi-Hope and the people we support. It allows us to use your gift wherever the need is greatest. Consider a donation to the annual fund today - you can rest assured that your donation is going to very, very good use.
